The Originals Boutique, Hôtel La Colonne de Bronze, Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme (Inter-Hotel)

This is a great hotel, liked very much. Real place, not at all chainy. Quirky building, be prepared for steps and puzzling corridors. Might be a little hot in summer? Breakfast was laid out lavishly in dining room, lots of lovely things. Excellent provision. Easy to park, small pay carpark immediately across the road, reasonable cost. Very close to the lovely flat walk by the river front. Five minutes pleasant stroll to the heart of the delightful little town. No English tourists seem to know about this place, it was very French. We plan to return.

The staff were terrific: particular thanks to Hugo for the ice for my wrist! Very good location near the river estuary.

A member of staff was extremely helpful when we needed to book our PCR tests in order to return to Britain. She made the bookings for us and advised us. This was excellent service.
